ShotPilot turns your phone into a virtual camera for moving through 3D scenes. The app does not collect, store, or send any personal data to us or to any third party.

What we don't collect

• No accounts and no sign-in.
• No ads, analytics, or tracking.
• No access to the camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or location.

Motion sensors

The app reads the gyroscope and accelerometer to work out the phone's orientation and height changes, which drive the virtual camera. This data is processed on the phone in real time. When you connect to your own computer, it is sent over your local network to the ShotPilot desktop app on that computer only. It is never uploaded to the internet.

Local network

The app asks for Local Network access solely to connect to the ShotPilot desktop app running on the same Wi-Fi (sending camera pose and receiving the live view). The computer address you enter is stored only on your phone.

Local storage

Camera moves recorded in demo mode stay in memory while the app is running. Settings such as the computer address are stored only on your phone and are removed when you delete the app.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
